I've photographed babies between the age of 2 days and 8 months. Newborn photography is best within the first two weeks of birth, but babies photograph well between 2 months and 8 months.
I photograph children based on the pictures I cherish most from my childhood. Me making silly faces or pouting, trying on my mom's seemingly giant high heels with bright red fingernails, you know - me just being a KID. That's how I like to photograph children.
To me, photographing children isn't about the perfect pose, smile, or background. It's chasing dragons, climbing through the jungle, jumping on the bed, and capturing images that you will cherish for a lifetime.
